The Krewe of Poseidon invites you to an unforgettable night of pageantry and celebration as we gather at the Castine Center on July 25, 2026,

to crown our King and Queen XII.

As the tides turn and a new royal chapter begins, we will honor tradition, celebrate our growing krewe, and officially launch another extraordinary Mardi Gras season in true Poseidon style.

Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner followed by an evening of live entertainment as Paper Chase, decked out in hot pink, takes the stage and keeps the ballroom energized all night long.

This is more than a coronation, it is the moment the trident passes and a new reign begins.

Get ready for an epic journey through the myths, legends, gods, and goddesses of ancient Greece as the Krewe of Poseidon proudly presents our 2027 parade theme, “It’s All Greek to Me!”

With more than 650 members, dazzling floats, spectacular costumes, marching groups, music, throws, and plenty of Mardi Gras magic, Poseidon is preparing to make waves once again!

🎭 The 2026 Krewe of Poseidon Parade Made Waves! 🎭

The 2026 Krewe of Poseidon parade is officially in the books and what a night it was! With one of our largest rider counts ever, this year’s parade was a true spectacle of lights, music, and Mardi Gras magic.

Tens of thousands of parade-goers lined Slidell’s streets to catch glowing, one-of-a-kind throws and marvel at our brilliantly lit floats. Many arrived early, making a day of it with friends and family to secure the perfect viewing spot.

As the largest coed, family-friendly Krewe on the Northshore, we’re proud to bring a piece of New Orleans Carnival tradition to the Northshore. Our members join not just for the parade, but for the year-round fun, friendships, and unforgettable experiences.
