The Krewe of Poseidon is a coed Mardi Gras organization committed to enriching the Slidell community through social connection, philanthropy, and a vibrant Carnival spirit.

Founded in 2015 by a passionate group of Slidell residents, Poseidon was created with a vision to revitalize Carnival on the Northshore and bring the magic of Mardi Gras closer to home.

Our mission is to provide the citizens of Slidell and surrounding areas with an exceptional parade experience, one that honors the rich traditions and history of New Orleans Mardi Gras — with a Northshore twist!
